Research

SkinResQU represents a dynamic and highly interdisciplinary research constellation, with activities in many different areas. In order to promote scientific excellence, SkinResQU presently focuses the efforts to the following areas:

  • Malignant melanoma – Why is occurrence increasing and what can we do about it?
  • Chemical exposure and complex relationships: protein targets and inflammation – cancer.
  • Reactive oxygen species a common denominator or key factor – the interplay between skin cancer, allergy and immunology.
  • Fighting antimicrobial resistance with focus on skin applications.

Below are a presentation of some selected research areas within SkinResQU.
